Preparation of prous titanium-manganese alloy for hydrogen storage

Résumé: The research objective in this thesis is on the preparation of Titanium Manganese (TiMn) alloys for hydrogen storage applications. Some researches on the porous carbon . And porous metal-polymer hydrides showed these have higher hydrogen storage property than those of dense ones. It is indicated that the porous TiMn alloy may also have higher hydrogen storage property than that of dense alloy. So in this case, porous TiMn alloys will be prepared and studied for hydrogen storage applications. In this thesis, the preparation methods of porous TiMn alloys by using mechanical alloying and vacuum sintering techniques will be investigated. The microstructures of the powders and alloys will be characterized and studied systematically. I focused my talk today on a part of my Thesis research which consist in :- 1)- informations... 2)-characterization of Ti alloy … I will first give a short intodduction , and then i present the expeimental part, result ,discussions and conclusions. " Introduction Part consist of Hydrogen storage, Future Storage Technologies , Challenges wihich face hydrogen storage technologies Research in new materails and C lassification of Materials .. " The experimental part consist of preparation of Ti-Mn alloys and characterization ,here we have Three directions .(Characterization of (Ti and Mn )pure powder ,Characterization of the ball milled TiMn alloy powders and Characterization of Ti-Mn Sintered Alloys.) And Porosity of Porous TiMn sintered alloys
