Résumé: This letter studies the protection design problem for single-link failure in survivableWDMoptical networks and presents a new shared-path protection (NSPP) scheme. For static demand matrix, this letter presents the integer linear programming (ILP) formulations and develops a heuristic that is based on the Suurballe’s method and rerouting principles. Simulation results are shown to be promising.
