ملخص: Determination of the concentration of hydrogen in zeolitic materials by Elastic Recoil Detection Analysis (ERDA) has been carried out. Irradiation effects of 2.5 Mev 4He+ ions on the surface of hydrogenated silicon and zeolitic materials, e.g. Y-faujasite, NaH ZSM-5, SK-500 and an Algerian montmorillonite have also been investigated. Quantitative measurements allowed the determination of the hydrogen amount as well as its distribution in each material. It was found that the irradiation effects during ion beam analysis can be attributed to the phenomena of adsorption and desorption of hydrogen atoms on the surface. Low beam energies involve thermal desorption of water whereas an excessive increase of the beam intensity may induce dehydroxylation destroying thereby the zeolite structure.
