ملخص: On the basis of the empirical psudopotential method and independent praticle model, electronic and positronic band structures are obtained. The calculated electron and positron chemical potentials give the positron and positronium work functions. The deformation potential model is used in the treatment of the contribution to the relaxation by a positron-acoustical phonon, which is needed to calculate the positron diffusion constant. Calculations of the diffusion-related quantities are presented.
