Theoretical investigation of the pressure dependences of positron annihilation in InAs and InSb

ملخص: Electron-positron momentum densities are calculated for the (001-110) plane in InAs and InSb under normal and different pressures. The calculations are based on the independent particle approximation coupled with the pseudopotential method. The shapes of the profiles indicate that the angular correlation of positron annihilation radiation (ACPAR) along different crystallographic directions in InAs and InSb is highly sensitive to the pressure effect. It is shown that the choice of the experimental pressure derivative of energy gaps is the major parameter for the relevant momentum distribution.
